Pool Rounds
Fencing Time provides unparalleled flexibility in setting up and running pool rounds. Some of the features of the pool rounds include:
  • Fencers are automatically assigned to pools based on seed order
  • Extensive option to minimize club, division, and/or country conflicts when laying out pools
  • Adjust pool assignments by simply by dragging-and-dropping fencers between them
  • Automatically assign referees to pools while minimizing conflicts between the referee and pool competitors
  • Pools of up to 32 competitors are supported
  • Pool bout order can be set to have teammates fence each other first
  • Pool score sheets can be printed with the fencers already filled in, and with a specific bout order listed
  • Pool results (indicators, victory percentage) are automatically computed from the entered scores
  • Results from multiple pool rounds can be combined to seed the next round
  • Late arriving fencers can be added to a pool after the round has started without reseeding the entire round
Direct Elimination, Repechage, and All-Places-Fenced Rounds
A simple and intuitive user interface makes running all types of elimination rounds simple. Features of the elimination rounds include:
  • Enter bout scores directly into the tableau just like on paper
  • Standard single-elimination, repechage (from 16 or 32), and all-places fenced (from 16 or 8) rounds are supported
  • Elimination tableaus of any size can be printed with all fencers already filled in
  • Easily print bout scoresheets for use on the strip (15 touch, 10 touch, or best 2-of-3 5 touch)
  • Ten-minute timers automatically run after scores are entered to allow fencers proper break between bouts
  • Active bout list allows quick entry of scores without having to search for the bout in the entire tableau
  • Optionally fence-off for third place
  • Enter DE bout scores quickly using bout ID numbers.
  • Use a barcode reader to scan DE scoresheets to quickly bring up the score entry form
  • Schedule DE bouts to fence at a specific time and on a specific strip
