Purchasing a License
Purchasing a Fencing Time license is a simple process that can be completed online in just a few
minutes. When you purchase a license, you will receive an email containing instructions on
how to download your personal license key that can be used to unlock the full version of
Fencing Time.
A single Fencing Time license gives you the right to run a single copy of Fencing Time on a
single computer. If you plan on running multiple copies of Fencing Time at the same time, you
will need a license for each computer.
Owners of Fencing Time v2.0 can upgrade to Fencing Time v3.0 for free. Upgrades to future minor
versions (i.e. v3.1, v3.2) will be free. Upgrades to future major versions (i.e Fencing Time v4.0)
will require the purchase of a new license.

When Fencing Time was first released in 2002, the price was $50. The price remained the same for
eight years, but we finally must adjust the price to keep pace with rising development costs. Given
how much functionality has been added to Fencing Time over the past eight years, we feel that even
at the new price it represents a great value to our customers.
